Our Organisation
Ivy Circle Netherlands is the umbrella organisation representing alumni of leading North American universities who live and work in the Netherlands. Founded in Amsterdam in 2006 by a small group of Ivy League graduates, the organisation has grown into a network of 20 independent alumni clubs spanning universities from Boston to Vancouver.
We operate at the intersection of two continents — celebrating the academic traditions of North America while embracing the professional and cultural life of the Netherlands. Our events range from intimate networking dinners to large-scale educational fairs attended by thousands.
Beyond connecting alumni, we invest in the next generation. Through our scholarship programme and longstanding partnerships with Fulbright Netherlands and admissions offices across North America, we help Dutch students access world-class university education.

Our History
Milestones
Ivy Circle Netherlands founded in Amsterdam by alumni from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.
Partnership with Fulbright Netherlands Programme formalised.
First Netherlands College Night held in Amsterdam, drawing 1,200 prospective students.
Expanded to 10 member clubs. First Amsterdam MBA Fair organised.
Ivy Circle Undergraduate Scholarship established, supporting Dutch students at North American universities.
Virtual events programme launched during the pandemic, broadening reach across the Netherlands.
Reached 21 member clubs and 1,000+ registered alumni members.
